We assist family businesses, SMEs, owner-managed businesses and all other parties involved in commercial and private matters across various sectors, including wholesale and distribution, retail and fast-moving consumer goods, catering, manufacturing, real estate and property management, construction and property development, litigation and resolving disputes.
We are based in Malta, serving both local and international companies, based in Malta and neighbouring countries.
Ongoing business advisory ensures the family business or SME regains business health with the core functions working efficiently and the business model effectively managed by the leadership team. We cover the legal aspect of such change management programmes with contractual agreements covering shareholders , M&As and other stakeholders.
Over the years, we have developed a process whereby a business diagnostic exercise is carried at high-level. This starts with a half-day intense discovery workshop during which we help businesses get a snapshot of their issues and challenges. High-level requirements and needs are extracted, followed by a list of conclusions and recommendations to improve the situation or transform the business. This discovery phase kick-starts the phase of regaining general business health.
Good governance will be achieved throughout the business with input from both a business advisory perspective and a sound legal framework.
We add value through first analysing and understanding the key areas that need addressing, followed by the expertly crafted change programme and subsequently its rolling-out on day-to-day basis. Areas we help in are franchising arrangements, intellectual property, mergers, acquisitions, exits and divisions, restructuring, adding a formal aspect to the management style and culture of family owned businesses, succession planning and the complementary mentoring of future leaders.
